Dog Clippers question by kcool223: Best dog clippers to use on 160 pound dog?
My dog is a Rhodesian ridgeback and is a solid 160 pounds. His nails have gotten so large that I can’t find any nail clippers that will fit his nails. I’m not sure if the grinders will work. Are there any extra large nail clippers out there?

You will probably need to use the grinder attachment for a Dremel tool, but be very careful. That’s a big dog, and if he isn’t used to having his nails ground, I wouldn’t just try doing it…it would be dangerous both for you as well the dog.
Your best bet is probably to ask a groomer, and if necessary, go to the hardware store and buy the grinder head and take it with you – they should have a grinder there, but the sandpaper drum they normally use won’t be hard enough.
